He’s been here three years today and I, for one, am very pleased he’s here. When he crashed through the front door in 2019 I wondered what exactly had just happened.
We squabbled, bickered and chased one another around the garden for the first weeks much to the concern of our parents. Once we had been able to settle ourselves we have lived noisily alongside each other, again much to the concern of our parents.

He is here to stay and I am so happy that he has a safe home which will let him live a good life.
Another well thought out post Dexter .
I enjoy following your adventures together.
I’m also aware that it’s never easy adapting
to having another fur around . It takes time
& patience .
Happy Gotcha day Lenny.

I know I grumble about him on the other platform but he is a good lad and I am very happy to have a friend to share my house with. And, he’s safe, which is the most important thing.

I dont think we will have a pawty (see what I did there). I may allow him to bite my ears and neck for a while longer before full blown squabbling with the associated pursuit around the garden and loud baying ensues.

Having a constant companion linked to us by a bond of affection is perhaps the most precious gift that life has to offer. May you enjoy many years of affectionate companionship with Lenny.
